I built a custom plugin for SketchUp that uses particles to simulate snow falling with snow accumulation and some wind turbulence and then used sketchy physics to do the footprints.....
....just kidding, it was photoshop.

The first image interior is 3d. The second image interior is a mix of 3d and Photoshop.

Some minor updates.
Shadows from people. Logo moved to above entrance and added a car at the parking garage. Also some color adjustments to the tree branch. -
I didn't even notice the missing shadows in the first pics.
An excellent render now made even better.
