      Hi

Is there any nice tool to attach profile to edge. More less simple way like its with ROUND CORNER plug in.
Idea is that if I have specific profile to be milled on wood detail edges I need to use follow me tool to get what I want... would be much better to have some tool with simple click on desired profile and then assign it to desired edge.

      Thank you in advance.

And if you don't want to buy profile builder, there are several ways you can do this with the native tools and none of them are difficult.

Profile Builder is good but as with anything, I think you should learn what the native tools are capable of before you start hunting for plugins. In this case Follow Me would be my choice. Here are two options.

              mold.png
In both cases I converted your profile of what would be removed into what would be left after cutting. On the left I ran Follow Me around a path and then filled in the center by tracing an edge to "heal" the face. On the right I basically added the "molding" to a smaller blank and then deleted the coplanar edges inside.

You could put the profile you have already in place along the edge of the piece and run Follow Me on it. To gain easy access to the profile, simply orbit inside so you can see it. If you preselect the perimeter before getting Follow Me you don't need to see the entire thing to run the tool.

Off the top of my head the only advantages profile builder has over follow me is that it stores your library of profiles for instant use and you can swap profiles easily. Once again it is only a time saver in the right instance, not something that does the impossible.
