While on holiday a few weeks ago an acquaintance gave me the full run down on his Nokia smart phone. I was quite impressed and thought that Apple had better get their skids on with the iP5S or 6.

I have just come across an article on the Nokia Lumia 1020 which is to have a 41 megapixel camera. I initially thought that this was overkill but on further reading I saw the logic. From what I gather the these extra pixel will be used for digital zooming! This to me is a great idea as it should eliminate the need for add-on lens that you never have to hand when you need them

I did not make the move to the iPhone5 from my 4S as I saw no major improvement. I did move quickly to the 4S from the 4 however for the front camera ...... which I rarely use

I am now wondering what the iP5S or iP6 will have in store, hope its a much improved sensor in the region of 20, 30 or even 40Mb otherwise I could well be looking at a Lumia 1020. http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2013/07/nokia-lumia-1020/

Looking for Nokia Lumia 1020 (or it's global/EU variant). It's not only the unique camera, but it also does have a high dynamic stereo recording. This been a long wait as I skipped Nokia 808 pureview (because I had a understanding that the "moster" camera was also meant to be released in Lumia line).

If they would make it the same size as the note 2, I would definitely upgrade. The camera sounds great on that.

Do you really thing so?
A >$500 lenses system still won't be enough for such tasks.
And, there're more to learn about the high density sensors... it's not that easy.
There're many sites dedicated on testing very expensive photo cameras and lenses.
Ultra expensive leicas - lenses, Canons, Nikons... etc. 24 Mpix, 36 Mpix etc etc
When you come to compare enlarged details, then you'll see my point.

There been talks about super-sensitive screen, wireless charging, colors... finger print reader. But who knows, it always will be a blast for fans and others wonder why anything has changed in years (except a better display)
