Thanks Daniello i'm still learning myself. It took me a couple of years to get reasonable. Be observant in your daily life look at the detail in things. Also study other peoples work from sites like this or

Regarding sketchup try this:
Maxwell Render has great resources too on their site and youtube
If your just starting the basics are easy, always use groups or components, always use shortcuts for commands r=rectangle l=line etc. Learn how to use inference by holding shift to lock axes. Use a mouse where you can click and hold the scroll wheel, orbiting and panning are essential skills.
Good luck and start posting things here with questions. This forum is an excellent and invaluable asset to sketchup. People will help you !

I like it. Wish more people would be bolder with kitchen colours. Maybe a bump map on the tile grout lines? Don't like the track lighting though and the lights need to be more directly over the worktops or you would be working in your own shadow.
-
Thanks for the feedback nickchun i think your right about the track lighting perhaps i could put lights under the cabinets to reduce shadows.

Looks nice, Simon. I think you should add some "stuff" inside those upper cabinets; with the glass doors, can see that they are strangely empty.
-
Im learning sketchup for interior design and your work is amazing example for me
p.s. Could you recommend few good learning resources?

I have to admit I looked at this thread will a little trepidation.
Purple? "Oh no, this will either be really good or something requiring sunglasses," I thought.
Instead, it turned out to be something very tasteful and pleasing and even a bit exciting.
Good job!

Thanks for the comment Bryan, Purple being off-limit was also my first reaction.
