no, thanks.Yeah, I don't like the business model either. I would rather pay for software and then have it. pay for updates and maybe patterns or samples. like the 300 samples inside this. I would rather have paid for each individual one rather than a yearly subscription.
That being said the newel posts, end caps and railings along with the huge modifications you can make to any of them are really kool. I will end up buying it soon.

I would buy this if it was NOT subscription-based; many of us live in rather remote places, with patchy internet (southern or rural NZ being a case in point)
- always-on is not always possible.

I find it worthwhile. Note however that the way the different components are made into a rail etc. is that they are simply overlaid without trimming or extending. So a rail might end halfway through a post, including the top rail. so for close up, more work is required. But in managing a lot of railing and fences on a site or whole building model, it sames a huge amount of time. It can handle slopes and angles well too. Anything truly custom or realistic isn't covered. Another aspect is that many components may be created for pickets that are actually all the same.

I couldn't wait... I got it last night. it's pretty good. it does do end caps, knewl posts and it is a complete solution. You may have to run it a few times over until you get the result you want, but that's more for learning the options than it doing anything wrong.
Loved the branch and natural wood railings... This is going to save me some time.
Still hate subscriptions...
