I have three styles that are loaded in the default template. One style I like to model with, another for printed output and the third for importing to a CAD program.

I noticed that the color of the dimensioning lines cannot be set with the style. So everytime I change styles, I have to go back and change the color of the dimensioning lines.

Is there a way a plugin could change the style along with the dimensioning lines colors, such that I could pick the print style, and all variable would change to correct colors.

Thanks in advance for your help

You can put every dimension stile on separate layer. And make visible only one.

The problem is I model with a black background with yellow lines and white dimensions. I change to the cad style, and it has a white back ground, so I have to change all the text to black, or if red for the other style.

I know I could hide the dimensions, but hiding doesn't change the color.

          Thanks for you input.

Do you see my examle? I change color of lines fo every dimensions. You can do same. You must change properties of dimension and choose color of lines and color, size, type of text, not edit the stile. Only dimensions lines.

Well, I admit I didn't open up your example, because I am bull-headed and was working at the time.

However, I see that will work for me. Now just need to save the scenes in the default template. I forgot you can save this info in scenes.

Thanks for hanging in there and the second chance.

              Another solution.

              Thanks Ken
