A Medieval-Period Trestle Table

The other day while trolling the web I came a across a medieval period trestle table. I decided to draw one up for my morning practice.
Three legs per trestle makes them more stable on uneven stone floors.

That's cool Dave. Odd it looks like it is meant to be more "dressy"from one side, as if the king etc. sit at the back side and the arched legs are seen from the front.

It is kind of odd that way. I wondered if the single leg was meant to be up against a wall and thus not really seen.
In the ancient drawings I've seen depicting this type of table, it usually shows someone I take to be a monk sitting on a bench on the showy side scribbling away on a manuscript or something.

I think they are still up on the cathedral wall guarding against evil spirits.

Kristoff, I thought about the saw horses, too. As they are, they won't stack very well and if I made them I wouldn't want to use them for fear of cutting into them.
Pilou, remember those clothes pins? I still use them. Funny my trestles made you think of those.

In fact it's because I had a plastic model who was quasi the same form than your legs' table
