A Big Project: My real Home with all its objects
-
This is a project that I began three years ago like a simple model to make color testing for repaint my home but with the time the project was making more complex.
I was modeling more and more objects that I have in my home and after two years of work in spare times, I have modeled hundreds of my real objects in high details entirely with SU.
This month I'm the Featured Artist in Thea Render web with this project, you can see some renders and the interview here Thea Featured Artist
As the project is too big now, I separate it in two skp files, one with Walls-Floors-Doors-Windows-Calefaction-Ilumination-Electricity-Furniture (106 MB) and other file with the objects (112 MB)
The actual state of the project is unfinished but I'll continue modeling more objects.

I followed this thread over at the thea forum and wondered why it wasn't here too!
A massive undertaking and hugely impressive what you are doing.
The renders are great quality too, but with all that detail, hard not to be Please post some renders in this thread because some people won't take the time to click on your link.
I loved the satellite dish render, thought it was a photo at first!

why has this had no comments? come on people!!
-
These are really fantastic. Excellent work.
I assume you worked up all of the contents in separate files and inserted them as components? Did you simplify or modify them for file size?
EDIT: Whoops. I reread your first post, where you pretty much answered my question. -

Perhaps the people haven't something to say.

¡Gracias Juan! Buena tierra Málaga con sus pescaitos fritos, sus playas y sobre todo el , estuve hiendo muchos veranos por esa zona (Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Mijas...).
Thanks Juan! Good land Málaga with its fried fish, its beaches and especially the sun, I was a lot of summers for that zone. -

Don't let an architect see your home Oxer
BUT very very high quality renders indeed, I especially like the bathroom one: the lighting is very neat and really calls out the materials' nature. -

My home is a attic located in a building with 25 years old and the architect that build it, he were not the more intelligent of the classroom , he made a great landing on each floor and then the apartments little with bad distribution.
Thanks for the comments, in the next days I'll upload more renders. -
Nice idea. beautyfull renders.
I started to do the same a few years ago. I also like detailed models with highres realistic textures.
But always the same problem: filesize, filesize, filesize.then I started to model each room seperate but did not finish it.
-
It's an impossible project, never you can finish this kind of project, all the people have thousand of objects in their homes, but like it's a personal project, I haven't date to finish it , other thing is how you say, the file size
Thanks Jo-ke for your comment, I would like to see some images of your old project. -
did you use physics for the nuts in the jars? they look very natural the way they sit.
