Customer provided GeoLocated SKP file. Noticed I could not get a "Parallel Projection" --say Top View -- without one of the side planes being visible. Also noticed that my "Z" Axis becomes visible on a Top View when it should not be.
My best explanation is that, for some reason, True North has been "skewed" off the vertical axis.
How did they do that? Can it be fixed?

I can get a plan in top view in perspective, but not parallel. -
The axes are moved - right click and "Reset". This fixes the blue axis showing in Parallel > Top.
The model is completely out of axis. See attached file with edges set to be coloured by axis: I drew a box next to it which shows the colours but the original box does not.
What probably happened was that the customer moved the axes fiorst then started the box from a rectangle drawn with the modified axes. During moving the axes, he probably screwed it and did not place the new axes properly on the original red/green plane. If you turn the Google Earth snapshot layer on, you can see that the box is not lying on the snapshot face but hovers over it.

Gai: Thanks for prompt response. I'll look at your SKP next. Your explanation follows my initial interp. Clarifying; To protect customer's design (and reputation) I removed his/her design and drew the "box" myself. But your explanation is in line with my diagnosis. He/She altered axes prior to briging in the SKP model.
My upcoming challenge is "re-learning" how to handle axes setup and "reset". If you could please lead me with a bit more detail as to Where/How/Tool/Axes to perform the R-Click to Reset, I'd appreciate it.

You simply right click on one of the axis lines (over empty space otherwise you do not get the context menu of the axes but that of the entity under your cursor). There is the "Reset" menu item if the axes have been moved from the original world axes during any modelling phase.
The standard views always follow this original world axes, no matter how you move your axes around. This is why a box modelled according to a (temporary) working axis system, will be out of axis.
QWhen setting a temporary axis, one needs to be careful not to change the red/gree plane (if it is for such a model) otherwise the building won't be vertical. This is why it's best to align these temporary axes to something already "flat" and horizontal in the model (like the GE Snapshot)
