Didn't like the taste or draw of the 20 dollar specials, so I quit vaping. Now I'm retired, just "putts" around the shop, so I want to bring my Provavi back to life. Six vape stores later, best I can do for parts, is 2 new batteries. I want to replace my tank and "everything above the neck". I can't see well enough to wrap coils, which in turn make my patience for such a thing, impossible. I need links to the stuff I need to get this together.
- Interchangable tanks would be nice for different flavors or even as refill on the fly
- coils I don't have to wrap myself
You all have way more experiance than me on whats available now

I went down to 3mg about 6 months ago, I don't really need much nicotine plus it's cheaper for me to make the juice.
I got one of those EGO AIO too....good for out and about.
I've noticed lack of mouth-to-lung style vapes too. I tried the Endura T18 which is cheap and cheerful....can't fault it really. Great flavour. It does get tiring using sub ohm as it's hard to be discreet.
For direct-lung sub ohm I'm still using Kanger Subtank on my Provari Radius, 0.5 ohm coil. It's hard to find a device that genuinely does both. I'm happy you can finally get a lung hit Stefan!
I do like sub ohm devices but I can't help but enjoy the throat hit you get from traditional plus-ohm vapes. It's closer to smoking IMO, with lung hits I seem to just keep vaping like a chimney; perhaps not very satisfying.
Currently vaping my own homebrew.....Pinkman (Vapours R Us flavouring) and Veuve Red (a flavouring from EXTRADIY Paris). Yum yum!
Veuve Red is very special for me; it has a unique floral taste when you first inhale and over time it develops into pure red berries, maybe even some sweet cranberry. I've never vaped anything else that tastes even remotely similar. I buy 20-30 bottles of concentrate at a time!
Pinkman is a strong tasting all day vape.....raspberry and blackcurrant, but quite indescribable maybe sherbet. I've tried three different "Pinkman" flavour concentrates and have found Vapours R Us do the best, also happens to be the cheapest. It costs hardly anything to make your own e-liquid it's almost free!

These hand checks are very popular, yet annoying. I've got the IPV5 mod, I'm very happy with it. Solid, precise and really nice. It's quite heavy though.

Well I'm up and running!!!! Put a Kanger Pro 3 Tank, plus their air control on my Provari. Smokes like a champ!!! Ordered the parts from https://www.vapeking.com.au on Monday and had the stuff Wednesday afternoon.

I'm at the 3 year mark, chain vaping 6 mg.
In the perfect world, I would not vape at all, but looking back to having smoked for 20 years, I'm really glad I left cigarettes.My current gear : Kayfun mini v3 on an Innokin Coolfire 4plus for vaping at home. For all other circumstances I use all-in-ones, my favourite is the I-stick Basic all-in-one box.
Not into direct lung at all

I started with this and then moved up from there.
The biggest stumbling block in the beginning for me was finding the right juice. Once I got it I never looked back.
If you have a Vape Shop nearby you should go for a poke around.

I use a fruity flavour. I tried tobacco to begin with but found them kind of disgusting.
I get mine locally in Ireland. It's called Vampire Kiss and it is a Raspberry, Strawberry and Menthol mix.
I don't want to blow plumes of vapour so this suits me. Most shops let you sample flavours before you buy.

Best advice I can give is to take a trip you your closest Vape store and hopefully there will be someone there that will give you good info like in my case. I was initially intimidated by all the jargon and complicated setups that some folks kept harping on about only to find they represented a small niche of the vape market like hot rod builders are for the car industry, most normal folk just want a Toyota Corolla that is efficient and reliable.
The good thing about visiting a vape store is you get to sample liquids before buying, so allocate a little time to play and learn.
I'll be 4 years cigarette free very soon.
