Golf Driver

Hi Guys,

I was wondering how you would go about modelling a golf driver, I haven't got a specific one in mind but it is a fairly complex shape and I am intrigued to see how you would go about it.
I was hoping you could outline what tools and plugins you would use to create the shape (mini step by step) and also some guidance on how you would go about adding the details such as driver face etc,

I have added a club purely as an example.
Thought this might be an interesting thread to see if people would come at it from a different perspective and to give the more novice users (like myself) an idea of process and the exact tools needed to carry it out.
