I request the Speed Limit sign from CityGen.
Here's how the sign would look like:
Here's how you do it:
First, choose number 5 to 150
Then, choose km/h or mph.
Then, click OK.
Last, you've seen the speed limit sign. -

There are many, many sign images on the 3D Warehouse, by the way.

Jim, this post is in thomthom's CityGen plugin. he wants a automatic or quasi automatic sign portion added. It fooled me too.
