Valve Docking Station For i-pod
-
A valved docking station for the i-pod classic.

Hmmmm...interesting. A somewhat complicated-and-retro looking docking station for a simple, modern device.
Nice rendering.

Nice Mike. steampunk pod!
For added realism, try using the round corner plugin to your timber edges. They look very CGI at the moment.

Cheers guys, Oli, I forgot about round corner completely. Some days I wonder, mind you with so many plugins to chose from how does one keep up?

It's really organized now, thanks Sketchucation!

Just a quick point I left out earlier, top end music playing devices are still available with gold plate valves. They are apparently able to provide a 'warmer' tone than pure digital apparratus.

Round corner does not work on that model and frankly I can do without the hasstle of playing around with something like that. The resultant mesh is a disaster and even if I scale up x100 it makes the whole thing look like a five year olds attempts at building a space station. Probably more useful on larger objects or furniture where the mesh may work better.
Not meaning any insult here just my experience with THIS model.

I see what you mean, you'd have to group off each part then run the plugin, it's just because of the returns and grooves.
