Section plane visibility

Hi Everybody,
Although I,m using sketchup for more then 8 years i can,t seem to solve this problem:
When i have different scenes with views of a model, i want to make a scene that is showing
a section cut without the section plane.
This is not so difficult for me, i hide the plane in the view menu and update the scene, but the section planes show up in every ( earlier)
scenes.
How do you do make a drawing with different scenes ,and only one scene wich is showing the cut?Hope to hear from You.
RegardsRonald

you have to go to all the other scenes...hide the section plane and update them too

Can you associate the section plane with a new layer, then set up a scene showing that layer?

David, section planes are more associated with styles and scene settings. Not really a layer thing.
As mics_54 says you have to hide the section cut, which is under the Styles Edit settings or accessed through the Section toolbar, and update the scenes.
An easier way to do this is to ensure that you'll get the warning for a style change when creating scenes. You can have a style that displays the section cut without the section plane and another style that doesn't. Do this prior to creating the scene and choose the required style for the view.

Thanks for the answer, i,m going tot try some things.

All I did was select the section cut , right click and click hide then go to the previous scenes select the section cut right click and hide, updating each scene.scenes and section cuts.skp
If you unhide the section cuts you can see them. To show them in all scenes you have to unhide and update each scene again.
