Not much on TV tonight, so I did a quick model that's based on hexagonal end tables for sale on the One Kings Lane web site. Fair warning: I joined the uprights to the top and bottom pieces with mortise-and-tenon joints, but didn't do any joinery for the hexagons. I also didn't take the time to change the axis orientation on some of the components. Maybe, once I finish digesting dinner, I'll add some splines to the miter joints on the hexagons.
Let me know what you think.
      Best,
      dh

        Nice work as usual.

I found a few things to fix. 😉 Take a look at the attached SKP.

I realize you aren't finished with them but I found some orphaned line segments when I was going through it. I also converted the top ring to parts and made all the legs instances of the same component. The top and bottom ring parts have the same dimensions and the same profile so I made them the same component. It's a good illustration of how file size can be reduced. The few things I did reduced the file size by about 65%
