-
Hey guys I found this free plugin that supposed to allow to edit a component in a separate window. However it doesnt seem to work. Could anyone confirm this?

In the ruby command I got this error while trying to perfom an edit:

Not sure if it will help, but the most recent file is maintined on our site here, not over at the ruby depot. It looks like the ruby depot has a recent version, but I think TIG might have uploaded a newer here that they might not have updated over there. ANYHOW, make sure you've got the version from here:

Then, do you run SketchyPhysics? That error hints that something like SketchyPhysics might be interrupting as well. But I'd say first make sure you have the newest version installed, then try disabling all other plugins and re-test.

Theres an unistall file in the plugin hidden in a unis file or something like that.
The plugin works great, by the way.
I cant believe that the suplugins are charging 25 dollars for the exact same (edit in place) (or similar plugin).
I heard the original author of "Edit selected component" plugin died? Then what SU plugin is doing is then really disrespectful in my opinion.

SUPlugins is owned by the Podium people (Cadalog I think). That plugin they offer is their own, not the one offered here. I have no idea when they wrote it, I didn't even know they had one. But it's certainly not stolen from Honolulu Desktop who wrote the one on this website (and yes he passed away).

I know its not stolen. I know they would do something like that.
