This Old Garage Apt
-
I had a redesign vision of an old project. It was a 3 floor garage apt built on an existing 2 car garage slab. One of my early and more complex projects. I was very proud of it as it represented my first complete residences and to that date, most detailed work.
The vision I had was an updated look. Man did I find a lot of flaws. Naw, not THAT bad, but, wow. So I had to fix those first before I did the redesign.
Here are before (1st) and after (2nd) pictures.

Update.

Nice work Brian. It's amazing going back to an old project and seeing the mistakes and you think why did I do that.
-
Nice Bryan. Depending on the surroundings one style may work better. Where did you get the tree images. I like them both, but different style.
-
Thanks Walt and Peter.
The tree images are from 2 different sources.
The background is from this board. Been so long since I used it I've forgotten who made it, but you can run a search here and you should be able to find it. It's just a flat image.
The foreground trees are from RP Treemaker, a free plug in from Render Plus Systems. However, I've found it no longer works with Trimble's update so you will have to use it with Google's last versions or earlier ones.

Wow mate, the new design looks so much better!
Not sure the pitched awnings though suit the style, I'd also suggest to me it needs some material break on the right side - finding that just a bit heavy though that's a personal thing.
The window with the raked header on the right seems out of context with nothing forcing the rake other thus fighting with reason!

That's actually a plant window box. A "garden" window.

Ah! Sorry mate, my bad - I didn't read it as that!

Yeah, the angle doesn't show it very well.
