Kurt, that's nice. Did you turn the legs?

Out of curiosity, why is there a gap in the legs below the pommels?

No I didn't turn the legs Dave and to be honest I forgot about that gap in the drawing.

No worries on the legs. I was just wondering. So what are you using for legs? Are the commercially available legs or are you repurposing something else?

Yeah they commercially available but they aren't legs. They're handrail spindles I found at Lowes and thought they might work/look ok for what I was wanting to do.

Cool! I'll be interested to hear how they work out. Photos of the real table are required, you know. 😉

                          Thanks Dave
I shortened the legs a little (7") and not to bad on the wobbliness but there is some. Its just going to be a charging station for all our phones and such so it should be fine.

Well, it's a cool idea for some quick, fancy turned legs. Good work.

Those legs look really fragile. Are they sturdy?
Is there a way of adding support w/o hurting the look?

Its not that bad to be honest but I don't know of a way to add any support on this project.
