Razer keypad

In my search for a better mouse I came across the Razer Nostromo keypad. Originally designed for gaming, it has 16 programmable keys which can be configured in different map sets to suit your needs. I find it very useful for all the shortcut keys in SU , GIMP etc. as you don't need to keep looking from screen to keyboard. I still use a fairly simple mouse with the Razer under my left hand. Just thought I'd share this in case anyone else was looking for something like this and hadn't discovered anything yet.

Interesting mouse, but tbh I don't think I'd be investing in 1, not anytime soon

It's not a mouse it's a keyboard, and it is a brilliant tool for SU.

Originally a Belkin N52, the Razer pad is an excellent tool. I've been using one for SU, Gaming, Gimp and Blender for the better part of a decade. It will take a while to get used to it and to properly set up the key mapping, but once done you have all the keys you'll regularly need instantly. I wore my N52 out I used it so much, the Razer version replaced it.
If you plan on utilizing it for many programs it's totally worth it IMO.

I use one all the time
it's like voodoo for SU once you get it setup how you like it.. right now I have a Belkin N52te but in the new year, I'm upgrading to the Razor version...oh and a trivia note - the 11th Doctor had one as part of his TARDIS console!

Really? It sounds really tempting but I am trying to imagine dropping all the keys I use on the keyboard. L for line is pretty easy, and then there's the standard use of the shift, option and copy and paste that would seem hard to overide in your kinetic programming...
I have always thought I'd try a ten key on my left hand, for all the numerical input, but never got one. Can this switch to numbers, (with switching feet and inches) on the fly?
I lover Razer stuff, including all my mice and the Sphex pad.
