With the new plugins SimLab Soft makes it easier for SketchUp users to extend their 3D exchange capabilities with other applications including Revit, AutoCAD, and Inventor.

The user will be able to import DWG/DWX and DWF files from other applications.

3D DWG files exported from AutoCAD 2012 and prior are supported.
3D DWF files from the latest versions of AutoDesk products are supported.

The user will also be able to export models from SketchUp to Design review and to other applications supporting DWG/DXF/or DWF

      More information is available below:

      SimLab DWG Importer plugin
      SimLab DWG Exporter plugin
      SimLab DWF Importer plugin
      SimLab DWF Exporter plugin

      Free trials are available.

During the month of September users will be able to get any of the plugins for $49

eh, it doesnt have any options... it didnt separate the imported DWG in layers, anything... imported a single 3D model, while in autocad there is the 3D model plus several 2D drawings, which failed to be imported into Sketchup.

I just tried this plugin, to no avail. For me, it ignores everything except dynamic blocks, and does not preserve layers. Feel free to check the DWF and SKP Import files yourself if you're curious.

I'm currently awaiting an answer to an email I placed to Simlab Support. I'm been extremely unimpressed with both their products and their support team's attitudes in the past, so I'm really hoping they'll improve on prior experiences. I'm thankful it's a trial version.

Here's the DWF (zipped because the forum doesn't accept DWF)

              ...and the results of import.
