hello every body ..... this is my try
rendered with TheaRender ... with Unbisided Algorithm ..
and some Post processing in Photoshop ... include adding ray of light
      πŸ˜‰

The render looks good, but it is an argument for not putting an astronomical observatory under a blazing street light.

πŸ˜„ ... he he he .... yes you are right .... maybe there are putting observatory of that street light not stars .. πŸ˜„

...and now they can put observatory on clouds πŸ˜‰
it's not a new render .. I have changed background Image IN PS .. and also lightening and colors of entire picture have boon optimized for this new BG ...

        final day.jpg

and .. there is also a behind scene screenshot ...
I don't now why they are using this telescope .. because it's possible to see the galaxy and far away stars just by eyes ... he he ... just fun ... πŸ˜„

I'm rather new to Sketch-up and VERY new to rendering. I use the demo version of Twilight. I don't do any professional stuff, so it does what I need. Anyway.....

<referring to the ghostbusters version> Ahh Dave, this has to be some of your finest work yet! Caught me off guard. I nearly fell out of my chair and I couldn't stop laughing. Thanks, I needed that today! (Saturday and I'm at work 😞 )

Thanx Chris. Of course " some of my best work yet" is a very small ball park, but i appreciate the kind words.

Are you going to BC12? Wish I could. I would've love to meet up with you again.

                    Night sky in Sonoita
I went out last night and photographed the sky to see if anyone was using enough stars and here is what I came up with.

The place needs retractable glass windows. That flat glass in front telescope would distort the viewing.
