Sample Model for Rendering - Loft w Telescope
-
hello every body ..... this is my try
rendered with TheaRender ... with Unbisided Algorithm ..
and some Post processing in Photoshop ... include adding ray of light
-
Dang it! After looking at Martin's night rendering, I can see I needed to adjust the light color on mine.
Well done, Martin. (and everyone else for that matter. very cool as always to see the different styles)

The render looks good, but it is an argument for not putting an astronomical observatory under a blazing street light.
-
... he he he .... yes you are right .... maybe there are putting observatory of that street light not stars ..
...and now they can put observatory on clouds
it's not a new render .. I have changed background Image IN PS .. and also lightening and colors of entire picture have boon optimized for this new BG ...and .. there is also a behind scene screenshot ...
I don't now why they are using this telescope .. because it's possible to see the galaxy and far away stars just by eyes ... he he ... just fun ... -
Some really great images and ideas on here! Inspired me to render my own....
-
Love it!

I'm rather new to Sketch-up and VERY new to rendering. I use the demo version of Twilight. I don't do any professional stuff, so it does what I need. Anyway.....

I dunno . .. I think I have done something wrong. . .
<referring to the ghostbusters version> Ahh Dave, this has to be some of your finest work yet! Caught me off guard. I nearly fell out of my chair and I couldn't stop laughing. Thanks, I needed that today! (Saturday and I'm at work )

Thanx Chris. Of course " some of my best work yet" is a very small ball park, but i appreciate the kind words.
Are you going to BC12? Wish I could. I would've love to meet up with you again.

I went out last night and photographed the sky to see if anyone was using enough stars and here is what I came up with. -

Thank you!
Not up to your work and many others here, but having fun and learning from you guys. -
The place needs retractable glass windows. That flat glass in front telescope would distort the viewing.
