Some of your personnages have no shadows! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

You can also try this terrific free program! (French quality ๐Ÿ˜‰
Have fun discovery! Time "render" = 2 seconds on my ten years old computer! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I'm currently doing a project similar to this for a client. It is my first of this kind. What method did you use to map the street markings? Nice image by the way. And I agree the people should have shadows.

It does look like NY except for the traffic lights.

Thank you guys for the comments.

Thanks Pilou, actually this is fotosketcher, i must admit that this program is amazing.

No this is not New York. I'm actually really happy that you guys think it resembles to New York, because that's the feeling i was aiming to give the picture.

No the markings are not textures, they are drawn one by one with sketchup geometry. Although this way makes the model heavier, i must say that gives me exactly the design i want the streets to have.

So that is not a "render" ? ๐Ÿ˜„
Just a screen shot of the SU screen then "fotosketched"?

On your image there are some horizontal grey stripes inside the "painting" visible on the road and on the building!
                This is no "natural" ๐Ÿ˜„

No, this is sketchup + twilight + fotosketcher + photoshop. I meant, that i used fotosketcher to help me make the watercolor effect along with photoshop of course. Sorry i didn't explain it properly.

It looks really nice so far, but maybe overlaying some "sketchy edges" output would pop some of the detail in the shadow side of the building?

                    Best,
                    Jason.

Jason, your suggestion highlighted a lot of details not only in the shadow of the building, but i think in the whole image. Thank you.
