Interesting that they would think plants and non-nautical space-wasting "buildings" would be desired. I guess to make extended life on board bearable?

Legal for foreigners to come to meetings on the mainland as long as "productive work" happens off shore. I often suspected that many meetings are not productive or work.

20 km ferry rides to go to a meeting? Note this is near Mavericks where the giant wave surfing is held each year. Not always calm.
