      I continue here...

I have setup the sun position in SU and then exported to Thea render...
After several try... 😳 , and because of the bad scale of some of my furniture in 3ds... 😕
I finally arrived to import a bed, a light, etc... 😄
And here is the render image, TR1 preset, 3hours on my crying laptop 😕 ...

So I think that I will try to work now following this way, very smooth the su file is only 3mb.
Hope you like it. I am a beginner with Thea.

Goes to show it's not the render engine, it's the artist. Excellent as usual!

Very nice. You have just highlighted the main advantage of working with a separate render app. 😉

              Hi Pilou,

In term of result, Twilight should have nearly the same result, But as Thea is a 64 bit application, the time to clear the image and especially the glass material is quicker. The only difference should be between SU and Thea as I can merged into Thea, what I want from my 3ds Ware house... 😉 and no matter now how heavy or complicated are the model... 😄

You can say that the lights are 5 Watt LED 😄
The ambient feels very natural, congrats Fred!

beautiful stuff, as usual, Fred. is it easy to maneuver things around in Thea? I, too, have it but haven't used it very much (yet)

I'm very interested in those downlights you've got there.. how do they work?

Hi Jason, Yes easy to use and after 3 days, I can manage a lot.
Thea is very smooth, and every thing you need is on the main interface... 😉
The downlight the you see are the IES light from the exporter.

                              A new one ...
