Simple Artisan examples collection

Of course but at times poles are inevitable. Just beware poles cause mesh pinching.
In that example you have 6 edges converging to one point at 4 locations.
If you tweak the proxy to lower the pole from 6 edges to 5 you then end up with 8 poles.

hii i want to download full version of artisan plugins pls send me the link or put the file pls i need it... and one thing i already have the plugin but i can't use that plugin.
-
Here you can (legally) obtain artisan: http://artisan4sketchup.com/
Else, if your post refers to some other (illegal) source of the plugin, be warned that SketchUcation does not tolerate piracy. For the time being, I hope it's only a language misapprehension

Looks like your trial period is over, you can buy a license here: http://artisan4sketchup.com/
edit: oh, Gaieus was faster

Hi charly:
See dialogue on previous page at Friday, August 23 in this thread. Notice how cotty predefined the lines on the baby rattle, also. -
Hi, charly.
See if this helps. I did not use other plugins. Only Artisan. As stated, delete all internal partitions.

An excellent sofa example by ginchius with proxy image and rendered version.
-
Wow ginchius' models are so convincing! I can imagine just how comfy the sofa is just by looking at the render! Most furniture models looks very static and formal.
-
very nice. Not so "simple" but a good example if you are looking "where to begin?" on something this complex.
-
Nice little "poor man's voronoi" workflow by Jeff here.

Good example Cotty
Thera are a few n-gons that I'd get rid of though

Not simple, Simply Mind Boggling!

Nice find, thanks for sharing the link!
(I've added an image as a preview, hope you don't mind)

Just found this useful reference for subdivision proxies. These aren't Sketchup examples, but a lot of the methods should work well with Artisan and help people understand how to approach fairly common shapes.
-
No problem Cotty.
When I get time, I think I'll try and reproduce some of the examples with SU. It would also be great if we could get people to post requests/advice for SU proxies.
