I have found extremely nice free application that will show you how much space files on your HD take - in a graphical way!
After a scan of folders structure the programs shows all files as color rectangles. Their sizes are in proportion to other files and to the total used space.
You can immediately spot files that are the biggest. You can be surprised, how much space you lose in temp folders!One can also check how much space SKP files take on your drive(s).

I'm a big fan of WinDirStat, and also Disk Space Fan/, also free(version). Both are great for ferreting out large files that various programs leave behind or create but may be un-necessary for anything except gobbling up your disk space.
