HP computer from Sam's club - good buy?
-
My computer motherboard just died and the rest of my system is about three years old. I know I could build a slightly better system for the money but I was wondering if this was a good deal?

I have a better graphics card on my old system I could pop in, if I need it. Also 18 months no interest.
Thanks for the help.

Good deal for what you get, just be sure to remove all the HP bloat ware.

Definitely sounds good.

These bastards did not include a Windows CD but everything was pre-installed (OEM). Ah yeah, it then kept popping up to make a backup just in case. I will certainly make one (haven't made it yet though).
Anyway, I got 3 years of full guarantee with it.

its a pain but you can download a backup copy of windows and use the key off the sticker on your new pc.

Thanks for the help! (Thanks Solo for the thumbs up.)
I like building computers but sometimes it is nice to just plug it in and go...(lousy timing for buying a new computer. Who has money at this time of year.)
And thanks for the tip about downloading windows and using the sticker number. I think I will start it from scratch instead of fighting all the advertising.....
Thanks!
