the important part is when the transfer of the motion from the motor to the 3 grippers via the hollowed out beam. I am new to the program but i am willing to learn! thanks!!

How important is it that the mechanism match the model in the video? Sketchyphysics does poorly with internal curves. The pantograph-arm mechanism is not a problem, though.

A little bit off topic but I read something about concave hull, and wondered if this concept could be incorporated in Sketchyphysics. That would improve things considerably, I would think.
