      hi all!

i want to make a model similar to this

the important part is when the transfer of the motion from the motor to the 3 grippers via the hollowed out beam. I am new to the program but i am willing to learn! thanks!!

It seems that a plugin called Sketchy Physics would be of your help here. We have a whole subforum for it (where I am also moving your topic now):

How important is it that the mechanism match the model in the video? Sketchyphysics does poorly with internal curves. The pantograph-arm mechanism is not a problem, though.

A little bit off topic but I read something about concave hull, and wondered if this concept could be incorporated in Sketchyphysics. That would improve things considerably, I would think.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.
