Did I break Artisan?
-
Why is this happening? I don't remember the mesh on the backside of a solid being affected by the sculpt brush. Is there a setting I am unaware of?
Thanks.

lol, you have symetry on?
-
No I don't. If I did you would see the plus sign on the back side and the sculpt would be higher on the back side. I have tried this with symmetry on and off but to no avail, the backside is always being sculpted.

Did you have a recent Black Ops update?
Looks like you worked that punching bag over pretty good.
TIG mentioned that he changed a piece of code in one of his very recent scripts? And maybe you are testing a previous version? -
No, I have not installed or updated any plugins recently. Nor am I Beta testing anything right now.
I am finding some more odd results as well.
If I subdivide a simple box Artisan seems to sculpt just fine. If I subdivide a box with segments then I get the problem again. See here...[flash=853,505:2cfhogdw]http://www.youtube.com/v/Va2cBErVKsw&fs=1[/flash:2cfhogdw]

Well, it was SuperDrape that I was thinking of. If that's ruled out, I don't know.

S.W.A.G.:Could you have somehow generated some internals and your amplitude is high, and your radius is small, and this combination somehow creates the effect?
-
Well I think I figured it out. It seems if there are quads Artisan does not respond well. If this was always the case then I am sure I probably knew about it before but just forgot. Anyway, I have solved what I need for the time being. Thanks mitcorb and Pete for chiming in.

Thanks Boofredlay:
I will pack this little tidbit away in case it comes up again. I figure, based on your excellent previous demos, if anybody is gonna "break" Artisan, it might be you.
