Reference Site for World Flora?

is there a website you trust or use to find the various plants of different countries? for instance if I wanted to know what plants are common to Hawaii I type in various searches at google and look for the plants individually. but it would be nice to have a place that listed them. or better yet a package of plant models for each country...

Your last sentence gave me an idea: you could use the X-frog database:
http://xfrog.com/category/AP.html
At least to narrow down which plants you "can" find in a particular region and which you "can't".
Since the site gives you both the technical name of the plant and the common name, then it's an easy task to search for that particular plant in google.
How do you like this idea?
