Copy and Create Unique?

Copy and Make Unique?
I do lots of repetitive pieces parts drawings - but usually things can change slightly from one component to the next (ie, post length, or thickness, etc.)
How hard would it be to combine Move+Ctrl and Make Unique? (maybe with an extra key in there - like Ctrl+Alt?
Having an option to copy and make unique, with key commands or a script with an icon would be great. Would save copying then hitting the pull down for 'Make Unique'.
Anything out there?

Assigning a shortcut to "Make unique" would take you 10 secs, and 0.1sec every time you use it after a Move/copy.
