PTC, put out one of the first parametric modeling tools, and ended up owning Personal Designer and CADDS. They have come a long way with their products. I tried to figure out the cost, but they have so many variations listed. Is it about $1k?

Does the free version have at least the horse power that free SketchUp has? I looked at the comparisons, but am not able to judge. Did you install and run it?

Yes πŸ˜„ (you must have an Internet connection for run it)
It's more for Industrial objects than architectural objects
And the concept to have a "work plan" is some disturbing against SU πŸ˜„
A little training is necessary πŸ˜‰

I have tried also PowerShape and 1234D but Co Create is more near SU spirit πŸ˜‰

The crazzy thing is that you can load STP file (nurbs) in 3D and DWG & DXF in 2D
And you can export in STL (Polygons) for prototyping and 3D Print
(use MeshLab for transform it in OBJ for example)
You can of course also save in its native format

So some possiblities for a free prog 😎
              it's a very nice toy for a 3D programs serial collectors πŸ˜‰

Yes as it has nurbs + boolean + Variable fillets + surfaces etc... πŸ‘
No as there is nothing for animation between scenes or specialised plugins (in free version)
and theoric limitation of 60 objects! πŸ˜’ (Make boolean unions πŸ˜‰

It's a very strong strict modeler with Pushpull rotation inside! β˜€
The only default is cosmetic : icones are very uggly! πŸ’š

Well, that by itself makes it completely unacceptable for an Architect.>_< Thanks for the update.
