As a plugin hog, I have plugins that I use once in awhile, some plugins everyday. I would like to shorten my context and plugin menu selections to just the everyday plugins.

So is it possible to make a plugin loader, that would use alias plugin names, to load plugin. Why alias, because must plugin have names that are hard to figure out what it is its’ use.

So would it be possible to make a selection box, that had a list of alias names, like, Convert Line to Xline, and box giving a short description of the plugin, ( Converts line to Xline and xlines to Line), another box giving the actual menu name for the plug,(Convert Lines to Xlines), and another box indicating where the plug will be displayed, (Context Menu).

So I could go though my plugin folder, remove the file extension, .rb so the plugin I select will not load, go to the menu item “load Plugins”, have a drop down box listing the alias names, the description, actual plugin menu name and the location of the plugin’s menu, i.e. Draw, Tools, Edit, i.e.

      Anyway just a thought.

      Thank you in advance.

I like that idea. I also have about two dozen plugins installed but don't use all of them every day.
