That way madness lies

Was talking to a friend who also works way too much and she said she knew she had overdone it when she found herself trying to open the front door with her mobile phone. I said I knew when I had been pushing it when I found myself standing on the front porch thinking about modeling the keys rather than opening the door with them.
So she asked how I would do that so, well I quickly modelled up some keys

but then, of course, I figured I needed to give them some scale so I just threw in the things that were lying around them on my table
note - edited image but still same timeline/conceptBut then of course, that didn't seem right because the light was wrong and it still looked out of context - so it continued...

but the important thing is I am not an addict - I can stop any time I want

Looks good - and I know what you mean about being addicted. I found myself using SketchUp a couple times instead of taking my lunch break at work. I guess/hope that this addiction is one of the 'keys' of success.

Cheers. I only ever do outdoor stuff normally so I am happy with pretty much any result from this - and I guess like any tangent you follow when you are doing this stuff I learnt a bit on the way. Unfortunately 'where to stop' was not one of those things
