      Hi,

I just recently downloaded the UV toolkit plugin's but i don't know if the plugin fit to my needs this time. I create a contoured surface based on a contour map and then applied material. I don't know if UV toolkit is applicable this time because the tutorial that I've watched were they create a surface then applied material> remember surface then create a contoured surface then Restore Surface. In my case I already have contoured Surface and what only need is to apply material.

Someone can help if UV toolkit can be used in this case. Please give me a tutorial if possible.

      Saw

        Hi Saw,

Do you mean you already have the problem with applying the texture on a curved surface without it being scattered into pieces?

          Hi Gaeius,

Sorry for the wrong title for this post, i don't have any problem using the UV toolkit. I mean is I already have a contoured surface and I want to apply materials on it, but i don't know if UV toolkit can managed the already curved surface when applied with material. I watched a video using the remember UV but it was a flat surface when applied with material then curved the surface then restore UV.

That's why I am asking. If you have a surface and you want to apply materials on it, you would only need to project that material on it from a flat surface - you do not need UV Toolkit for that.
