Would the blue object be a flower vase?

Excuse me for being so analytical but, hopefully the internal diameter at the waist is sufficient for hand scrubbing the interior?

              I wouldn't know 😕

These were desined in 1958 and been in Iittala collection ever since...

Yes it is (just). I have a red one (used usually as a flower vase). All of these are very familiar to me. The glass is the original where the material is very thin-none survived my childhood home. Thanks Marleus.

By way of clarification, I find those items in the collection very pleasing in their own way.
It is just my design education coming out when I ask those "analytical questions".
I believe one must appraise an object not only for its visual appeal which represents color, proportion and a slew of other elements, but especially in product design how well it meets its intended function, and by extension, its longevity. In the case of the jug, I suppose you could run out and get a bottle brush or slosh a soapy cloth around in the bottom and hope you clean the entire inside.

The Franck stoneware is very durable. I have in daily use some bowls and rectangular serving dishes that, as far as I remember, were purchased by my parents around 1960, and others we bought ourselves in the late 1970s. I still find the simplicity pleasing, and our kind of food looks good in it.
