      Good morning all,
I just joined Sketch Ucation yesterday. I was in a hurry, however, I noticed that someone had made a training book for woodworkers using Sketch Up. I tried to find it again today, but could not. It was a book and it came with an PDF disk to show you how to build things. The price I believe was around 35.00. If anyone can help I would be very grateful.

      John

        Welcome to SCF, John.

I expect what you are looking for is a book by Bob Lang. Check the Popular Woodworking website for it. There's also SketchUp Guide for Woodworkers by my blogging partner, Tim Killen available from Fine Woodworking. It's an eBook so you can get it instantly. There's also a lot of info on the Design. Click. Build. blog although it isn't intended to be a basic 1-2-3 sort of thing.

Just to avoid any confusion, my book is titled "Woodworker's Guide to Google SketchUp", and it is in pdf format with embedded videos every few pages. It is available from my website, http://craftsmanplans.com/sketchup.htm in addition to the Popular Woodworking store. There is a video preview and some sample pages available there, as well as links to reviews.

Hi John, as Dave correctly said, you can find all sort of stuff out there.
