Awesome. When they teach this stuff in school, it sounds like changes happen very slowly... when in fact it's really fast and violent. There's just longer periods of quite in between the violence.

I have always been fascinated with these topics, I'm intrigued by the lava flows in Hawaii that's creating new land as we speak, but never seen this, I also thought it was a slow process. We live in a great time of learning with so many film makers spanning the globe watching out for these phenomenons, truly an education never before available.

THAT'S the island I was trying to remember. I was just a little kid but I remember watching this on TV just fascinated. Amazing stuff.
