Hello everyone. I am currently helping a friend design an insert for an old entertainment center to convert it into a bar. Does anyone have either a source for sketchup blum tandem slides or happen to have their layout dimensions handy so I can draw them up myself. I am having little luck finding dimensions on the web.

Thank you so much for any help you can give me.

    Jeff

Here's a link to the Blum Technical data sheets. The tandem slides and details are there I believe.

I don't think there are Cad or any skp. files though.
      Hope it helps.

Awesome dale. Thank you so much. I can easily draw my own I just wasn't able to find the dimensions.

        Thank you. I appreciate it.

It's not easy to pick out of the long list but they have an Excel-based planning tool you can download You can enter the specs on the cabinet and the drawer and it'll tell you which slide to use. I use it frequently for the work I do for one of my clients because he always specifies these drawer slides.

Blum do a piece of software here in Europe called Dynaplan / Dynalog which they use to help design and specify slides / hinges for different applictions. The latest version allows the export of dwg files showing the components in the cabinet and drawn exactly as they are. Very handy when doing drawings of Blum fittings!!

              HI Dermot,

Could you post a link to that software? It might come in handy.

              Thanks.

Dave, this is the link i used to get info on the product.

This is the link to a website in UK which gives you details of the software (Dynalog is the main heading and Dynaplan is a program that runs within it). It is not a free program for the full version. I paid over £100 for mine. THey used to do a light version but not sure if they still do it now. Hope it helps.

Thanks Dermot. I'll look into it. I don't do enough with Blum hardware to make it worth paying for an application to specify their hardware. The Excel-based thing they have for the glides is enough for me usually.
