What app you using for the mapping? I liked UV Tool Pro but couldn't get to grip with Roagkill for organic shapes.

I used Modo 401 (demo). Got this for christmas: http://source3d.net/martinkrol.htm. Interesting stuff!

And this is with ThomThom's UV Toolkit 2 (a sandbox mesh distorted with his Vertex Edit plugin but can be anything...)

What does that one do, keep the UV's as the model is being distorted?

Why are you modelling butts? Thought you modelled things from the past not thongs at the rear!

Yes, exactly. Top class plugin, could easily sell for like $ 20 when finished.

Well, this was just for the sake of the UV's distorted and even scaled.
But is your butt chequered that this was the first thing that came to your mind?
