Naval Cutter "Alert" 1777

So Here is the next one,this is my second attemp at making her,the first I had managed to model each plank in her Clinker hull only to find out i had modeled to few planks :righton:
The Plans I am using are from the Anatomy of the ship series with no less than 129 pages of drawings and information for her,so no excuses there then, Ive modelled a simple Slipway for her with the Layout taken from a Sailing Ships Encyclopedia I had bought some time ago.
Wile she is similar in build to Seaflower,She will have a full Interior and much more detail to show off,Im having Fun already
In the last render I had found the soil texture I had been looking for so renders from now on will have it in use.

Starting The main Deck,Had some issues with Drawings and Scales,Some have the ship lined to the waterline and some have her on the keel,which changes the angle slightly,and the scales keep changing per drawing...slightly annoying but neccesary for printing I guess.

Main Deck Complete,Carlings,Ledges,Deck Knees and Beams all added,Still need to add the Hanging Knees (Vertical Beam Supports) Sail room (in the Centre of the below deck) needs to be properly fitted.

Hehe Thanks guys,Everything is modelled in Sketchup,and im using Max to render,the first few shots were with KT.
Deck Fittings Added,Ladders and the Hanging Knees were added,There was little information on them but because of the way that each beam meets the inner hull at a different angle,each hanging knee is very different thus has to be custom made,Found the Wagon

Hehe was worth a try,its a animated Gif so uploading it renders the animation inactive,shows on my pc so i thought I have found a way around it,can understand why,Ideas?

Many more Bits and Pieces added,smaller details take some time,all done as low poly as possible (Well to my standards
) She is nearing the 20,000 poly count at the moment,Taking away the faces facing up from the framework below the decks freed up 4000 Polys,My Budget is 100k,Im sure I will get her in under 50K
