Are you planning on using SU for creating such panoramas? Because there is a plugin for SketchUp that will help in producing 360ยฐ panoramic Quicktime interactive 'mov' files. The plugin is "cubicpanoout.rb" and is available from the Ruby Library Depot: http://rhin.crai.archi.fr/RubyLibraryDepot/plugin_details.php?id=91

http://www.you3dview.com/Yes! Something like that! I just got a nice present (a twilight license) from a dear friend. And when I saw that Twilight is able to render spherical and cylindrical images I was .
Now, I'm looking for a 3d pano software -
But I would like something stand-alone.
http://www.you3dview.com/ looks like it's a web application only. -
Ah, then this:
http://www.fsoft.it/panorama/FSPViewer.htmVery simple and all. Just enjoying panoramas yourself (but remember this other one when you come to sharing them! See, you can even embed into forums)

I just found This Website and downloaded the application. I can say it's awesome. If you have your own website, I think it's the best way until now, to upload your 3d panoramas.
Nevertheless, if you know any better alternative, let me know.
Known bug: it doesn't zoom with mouse scroll wheel in Win7 (on Xp tested and it works fine). Though, it might be just a problem of my computer. -
That's a very cool application!
I tested it with this panorama (yes, getting boring IMO) and it runs neatly. You cannot get rid of that hotspot however which takes you to Serbia however.
There are a couple of applications listed here:

Here are a couple open-source posibilities.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but does anyone know of a panorama viewer that can create standalone files that someone can view offline without having to download any software?
-
You can create a Quicktime (.mov) video with this software, so you only need quicktime installed to view the panorama. There is a free version (non-commercial use) and a newer PRO version...

I was trialing that yesterday and completely overlooked the QVTR option.
Thanks

http://www.pixeet.com is a nice posibility too.
