I read that Google were about to block the ability of Facebook to search contacts .... maybe the reason for going into email?

I never got the bug to use internet email so I don't get how this is so big. I like having my email (which is overwhelmingly for business use) on my own computer, with "smart" folders set up the way I like, and an excellent spam filter all courtesy of Apple "Mail" app.
It IS a real rip-off of time (but so can forums be). My wife is always browsing her Facebook. I have not felt the the need to get sucked in, myself.
