Lat and Long as address?

Hi Jax,
You can of course do that (if the Lat/Long is precise enough). You would also need to know the exact orientation of the buildings to the north of course.
Now another question; are these buildings ready yet (and only the imagery is old)? I mean you know the acceptance criteria... Or they are just plans?
Also, are there marked streets/roads all around the lots? And if yes, are they accurately placed? In this case you could use GMaps to precisely locate/align your buildings.
Thanks Gaieus,
The buildings exist, and the coordinates given place the markers right on top of the buildings. They have also sent elevation pictures.
Here is the Lat and Long so you can take a look. This is for a place marker I put there myself. I have all the other coordinates for placing the buildings.
Lat: 16Β° 7'28.79"S
Long: 57Β°43'43.41"WSo if this is doable, how would I place this information in the address area of the upload page for 3D Warehouse? Just put Lat and Long in the address area?
Thanks again for the input.

Why bother with the address area? That doesn't have to be filled in!

I just always have filled it in. Not a requirement for approval?
I guess that is another reason why I asked. I just always assumed it needed to be to confirm location.

Well, for my only SU building on the GE 3D Layer, I gave the info although when looking that place up in Google Maps, it puts it into a completely different place. So it does not really have a real value IMO.

Well, I've pulled up the model and will get it uploaded, so I'll send you a link and we can both watch and see if maybe this is something we both can learn from.
Thanks so much for all your help my friend.

Glad you got sorted Jack, hope you are well.

Well SketchUcation modelers. FYI the model that was configured, and placed on the 3D Warehouse for approval in GE using the Lat and Long coordinates as an address got approved.
So placing a model in Google Earth, where there is no record of map information is possible.
Check it out here.
Thanks

I told you, Jax!
