Very interesting, love the concept. ๐Ÿ‘
Something suggests perhaps a little mist in the middle distance? Fade out the horizon, texture on the lighthouse a bit stark. Maybe haze over the rails, too? If you decide to do this, apply it to both scenes, especially the texture on the lighthouse.
        Best regards,

this is just my opinion, however.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

          The foreground is great.
The background with the lighthouse have something wrong with the scale. It looks small. Like a toy lighthouse.
I think it could be the size of the grass compared to the foreground and maybe also the size of the cliff texture, plus the lack of smaller rocks and maybe something else of a "known" size that sets the proper scale.

Very nice. For some reason it reminded me of The Mysteries of Harris Burdick.

Maybe you should put something going by on the tracks.

I like the day scene, looks peaceful.

Definitely a scaling issue, see reeds, the eye has a sense of scale based on close reeds, yet reeds near lighthouse make lighthouse look small, so I'd say scale down reeds near lighthouse and remove bump/texture from lighthouse as it looks lumpy and over-sized.

The light house is white. OK we know it is painted white, but is is really white. Its shadow side is neutral instead of picking up any of the cloud's greenish gray. Is this the result of either the sky or the lighthouse being inserted in post production?

Is true, the lighthouse is out of scale and the texture is very strong. i will try to fix that...
