Vector Rendering Problem
-
I have a weird problem where using Vector in Layout causes some of the colors to spill outside of the actual model? You can usually correct it by using update reference a few times, but sometimes it just wont go away. Im surprised no one else has mentioned this because it happens to me constantly. Here are a couple of pics so you can see what I mean.

Hi Simon,
No, I have never seen such an issue yet. What video car do you have?
(By the way; your images do not load for some reason - you should attach them here directly as I also had to open them one by one).

I also cannot see images mate.

No one else come across this problem?
Here's a few more pics that better show whats going on.
It never used to happen to me on Layout 2.Nice rainbow effect on that last one, but not really what I was going for.

Video card is ASUS-EAH5770 - But I never used to have this problem on earlier versions of Layout?

Each newer version of SU (and therefore I would presume LO as well, since it displays an embedded SU file) uses somewhat higher OpenGL version.
I would try to update your video driver.

In order to fix problems such as these a bug report needs to be logged with Google along with a way to reproduce the problem. Screen captures don't help much fixing bugs.

I get the same thing. Haven't delved deep into when exactly it is happening.
For as long as the error shows on screen, the PDF exporter generates an error as well. I can make it go away (sometimes) by forcing LO to re-render the vector image; either by slightly orbiting around the model or by repeatedly clicking shadows on or off. Which triangle in the model it extends to the top left corner of the paper, differs every time. Hope you guys can fix it. When it happens to render correctly, the PDF export works again as well. -
Might this be a model size/distance from origin glitch?
Now that I think about it, I seem to remember someone got a similar thing once exporting a PDF or EPS from SU.
