Is there a simple way to set the tolerance required for surfaces to be considered coplanar by SU?

Nope, no way to change SU's tolerance for coplanar-ness. You can test to see if it is considered coplanar (Thom put a LOT of workin into figuring this out). Then if it is not coplanar, you can redraw your gemoetry so that it is? That sounds painful though. What is this for?

Accommodating small differences sometimes found in the coordinate database of Cad entities when moved from one app to another. Guess I will pass πŸ™‚

As Chris says, SU's tolerance is fixed.

Well if you know the fixed tolerance, an alternative approach is to scale up your model and then allow SU to do its coplanar stuff, then scale back down.
