[Material] Bubinga (wood)

Here are a couple of Bubinga materials I did up. They are not seamless but real wood is not seamlessly tileable, either. They are both 9 feet long. For smaller projects, if the material is applied to faces you can pick different parts of the board to use much as you would in shop. You should be able to texture a small table with these two materials with no repeats in the texture.
This one is about 13-3/4 in. wide.
This one is about 9 in. wide.When I add materials to SketchUp, I draw faces sized to the known dimension(s) of the material and apply the new images to those faces. No need to edit the the material after import.

That'll do it. I guarantee they are free of nails so you could even plane them and not worry about knicking your knives.

Thank You Dave, I haven't been on for awhile. I'm designing a router table in SU now. I haven't used materials before but will experiment and see what I can do. Jerry

if you scroll down to the laminate top you have a choice of different wood species and by clicking on the guitar body shape it opens a new window ( around 600*875 / jpeg...pretty decent for most renders...
about the tiling... it's usually a bookmatched top so it's not made for tileable wood patterns but rather for fine cabinetry or stuff like that...
